A bunch of numbers…

From June 1st to September 1st, we have had the opportunity to gather some statistics about the visitors to BCSikhYouth. Here is a small summary:

27% of our visitors are Taksalis, 27% are AKJ !

About 77% of you are still using Internet Explorer, while about 20% are now using Mozilla Firefox. Click here to switch to Firefox!

About 87% of you are on a Cable or DSL connection.


The top viewed posts or pages of the last three months were the homepage, the Multimedia Gallery, and posts related to Akhand Jaaps, Kim Bolan, Bhai Jasbir Singh Ji Khannewale, Deep Kaur wins Spirit Voyage Idol, the July Akhand Keertan smagam, and the Toronto Sanjha Smagam.

About 50% of the visitors to this site are new visitors off of Google, while 25% are sent here from another site, and 25% actually type in bcsikhyouth.com to get here.

If you came here from another site, it was likely to be MSN (5%), Yahoo (4%), SikhiWiki (4%), Gurmat Studies (3%), Flickr (1%), or DiscoverSikhi.com, OntarioSikhyouth.ca, Harjas.com, or Confused Khalsa’s blog.

As far as location, 70% of you are from Canada (35% from BC, 35% from other provinces), 10% are from USA, 7% are from the UK, 6% are from India, 1% are from Australia, and then smaller percentages from various countries around the world.

Surprisingly, 15% of visitors still have an 800 x 600 size monitor, but most visitors have 1024px width or larger.
