Vaheguru ji ki fatheh !!!
It snowed last night and it is bound to stay very cold in the Lower Mainland. It is a very important time to donate warm clothing for agencies that help homeless and low-income families who could benefit from such items especially in this winter.
Local Sikh youth have organized a JACKET DRIVE and request you to drop off any and all winter jackets to GURU NANAK ACADEMY, 12484 82nd Avenue, Surrey, BC.
The Academy is open Monday to Thursday from 4:30pm to 7:30pm.
Other drop-off times are available by request. Please call 604-594-3962 or e-mail academy@gurmatstudies.com.
Please forward this message to ALL of your sangat.
Thank you,
Vaheguru ji ka khalsa,
Vaheguru ji ki fatheh !!!!!
You guys are making Sikhs proud everywhere! Keep up the good work.

Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh!!
This seva is being done to help those people that are living less fortunate lives in mainly in the downtown eastside of Vancouver. However, the jackets will be given to other branches to be distributed to the homeless. Guru Nanak Academy will be working alongside the organizations of Union Gospel Fund and Coats for Kids 2005. The winters are cold so please open your closets to those in need. Any used warm winter jackets will be sufficient. Please do not bring leather jackets, as some people may attempt to sell them.
