Thank you very much for your responses. With regard to Anonymous Ji’s post above – please do not be disappointed pyareo, this article is a constant work in progress and we will always be updating it. So thanks for your suggestion and we will add the excerpts from the “Sikh Rehit Maryada” about hukamnama to the article.

To be honest we are not sure which Manglacharan is being referred to here, but the 5 mool mantars was an instruction from Guru Arjan Dev Ji to Baba Buddha Ji, which Baba Buddha Ji communicated again to Baba Harnaam Singh Ji when Baba Harnaam Singh Ji did this ardaas and had the darshan of Baba Buddha Ji.

Thanks for pointing out the missing sentence – we will try to recover the original text and fix that error.

Overall a very good and informative article.

I am disappointed you have not quoted Panth Parvan Maryada (Sikh Rehit Maryada) on how to take Hukamnama.

Also, are there any historical evidence for the Sakhi about Baba Buddha Ji?

After doing ardaas, before taking Hukamnama, the paath of Moolmantra should be done five times. Or the four paaths of “Mangla charn” which is recorded in Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji should be done for better benefit.

There are, If I’m not mistaken – thousands of Mangla Charans in Guru Ji. Where does it say that 5 mool mantars shoudl be read (in history/maryada/samparda.)

Also one of the sentances is not completed -

If that salok starts from the very beginning in the left page, start reading from here, but if it has started. —

If it has started… ??? Next line talk about something different.
