BCSAP Information for Students
BCSAP was created to help eligible students with the costs of post-secondary studies at colleges, universities, university colleges, institutes and private training institutions. It is a needs-based program, which exists to supplement, not replace, funds available to students through work, savings/assets and family resources/income. A basic principle of BCSAP is that the primary responsibility for the funding of post-secondary education rests with students and their immediate families.

BCSLSB Information for Students
Starting August 1, 2000, the Province of British Columbia has partnered with the British Columbia Student Loan Service Bureau (BCSLSB), an accredited Service Bureau in the distribution of loans, monitoring students’ interest-free status, collecting repayments from borrowers and remitting to the province.
The BCSL Service Bureau will only administer loans negotiated after August 1, 2000. Students with loans negotiated before August 1, 2000 will remain with their existing financial institutions.
