Vaisakhi Celebrations & Car Wash

Please note that the Khalsa Diwan Society New Westminster, is holding their
annual Vaisakhi program on Sunday April 15th 2007 at Gurdwara Sahib Sukh
Sagar New Westminster. The celebrations will be held from 8am to 1pm in
which Nishan Sahib Seva (Sikh Flag Pole will be taken down, cleaned and
reinstalled) will start at 8am, followed by Kirtan, Katha and Dhadi Darbar
(Religious singing) and concluded at 12pm with Shabad Chonki (small parade
around the temple).
Lastly please note Khalsa Diwan Society New Westminster is also proud to
participate and represent the Sikh community in the Youth Rebuilding Our
Communities Event addressing violence, gangs and drugs, this Sunday in South
Hall, Vancouver. This multicultural program is held in conjunction with the
office of Wally Oppal, Attorney General and Minster for Multiculturalism and
will take place from 1pm to 4pm.
