This is Good News.

As is customary for the Vancouver Sun, a good news for Sikhs was presented as a yellow-light for British Columbians. The application of Satnam Education Society to Surrey city council for approval of the building of a new Khalsa School in Surrey was presented in a negative light and the involvement of Bhai Ripudamin Singh Malik, who was proven innocent in the Air India trial, overshadowed the news coverage of the actual school.
The new school would compliment the current school and would allow 1,850 youth in BC to have access to quality education with the benefit of a gurmat environment as well. Furthermore, the extensive list of sports and recreational facilities proposed for the school would be beneficial to the community surrounding the school. This is all round good news, but the Vancouver Sun is too petty to have any part in it.
We hope that with Guru ji’s kirpa the building of a new Khalsa School is successful and that the teachers, students, and employees can provide high-quality education and an excellent gurmat environment for the benefit of many generations to come.
Vaheguru ji ka khalsa,
vaheguru ji ki fatheh!
