EarthSave Canada presents: Taste of Health Food Festival 2006 - September 30 - October 1, 2006

What:  The 8th Annual popular Taste of Health Food Festival includes exhibits, workshops, presentations and food demonstrations to showcase plant-based foods.

Why: Visitors can sample and buy great-tasting foods, products and services that fit an eco-friendly lifestyle.   Several local vegetarian restaurants will be on-site plus entertainment, a book fair, community tables, wellness displays and a kids’s zone.

Who: Come listen to speakers present a range of topics ranging from health & nutrition; environment & animal issues; and food & dietary insights.  Each day enjoy a special daily 1 hour viewing of “Future of Food”. Speaker highlights include: Simply Enough founder and spokesperson Rae Sikora; Raw food chef & author Paul Nison; Wellness Coast Kathy Johnson, Bio-diesel expert Mike Divell, Vegan Body Builder Bruce Cheeke, Chef Aaron Ash, Chef Gita Vadhwana, Farm Animal Welfare Project Coordinator Bruce Passmore,  Activist Ashley Fruno and others.

When:  Saturday, September 30, 2006 -  Sunday, October 1, 2006. Hours: 10 AM – 6 PM

Where: Croatian Cultural Centre, 3250 Commercial Drive (at 16th Avenue), Vancouver, B.C.
