At Canadian Singh Sabha Gurdwara, 8115 132 St., Surrey
Canadian Singh Sabha Gurdwara and the Multifaith Action Society invite you to a free multifaith dinner and concert on Sunday, October 22, 2006.
This is a unique opportunity to listen to compelling Jewish, Aboriginal and Sikh music in the worship space of the Gurdwara.
Dinner will start at 6 pm, followed by the concert at 7 pm. Admission is completely free. Children are welcome to attend.
The concert will feature the Vancouver Jewish Men’s Choir, Aline La Flamme & Daughters of the Drum, and the Canadian Singh Sabha Youth Choir.
The Gurdwara is located at 8115 132 St., Surrey. If you are unused to sitting on the floor, you are encouraged to bring a cushion for your comfort. Please dress comfortably.
You will also need to cover your head, and are encouraged to bring your own head covering. Religious head coverings, bandanas and scarves are acceptable.
