Richmond Play Day - Saturday, July 29
July 3rd, 2006 by adminThe City of Richmond Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services encourages individuals and groups to make a difference in the lives of children and families by volunteering for Richmond PlayDay. Last summer, PlayDay attracted nearly 11,000 children and parents and this year even more families are expected to participate. PlayDay is one of many innovative programs supporting the City’s “Getting Richmond Moving” initiative and the Premier’s Challenge to increase physical activity by 20 per cent by 2010. Richmond PlayDay runs Saturday, July 29 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at South Arm Park, 8880 Williams Road.
