Guru HarKrishan Institute Receives Recognition Award

On the last day of the 11th Sikh Youth Gurmat Camp, Guru Harkrishan Institute of Sikh Studies (GHISS) received an Appreciation and Recognition Citation from Mr. Chris Van Hollen, Member of Congress. The Certificate reads:

The award was presented during the GHISS 11th Annual Sikh Youth Gurmat Camp to Gurdeep Singh, the President and Founder of the organization, by Mr. P. J. Andrews, Constituent Services for Congressman Chris Van Hollen. Also present at the ceremony were Mr. Steve Silverman (Montgomery County Council Member running for Montgomery County Executive position) and Ms. Joyce Hunter (Co-Chair for Ben Cardin’s campaign for Maryland Sentorial race). The ceremony was facilitated by Attorney Harpreet Singh.
