For all of the Sikh bloggers out there - did you know that you can post to your blog using e-mail?

In blogger you can set this up quite easily!

1) Click on the Settings tab, followed by the Email link

2) In the Mail-to-Blogger Address box, enter any code word that you can make for your address. Your address will be your blog name, a “dot” (.), your code word, another “dot” (.), @blogger.com

So if your blog is called Sikhblog, and your code word is newpost10839, then your e-mail address will be sikhblog.newpost10839@blogger.com

3) Sending any e-mail to this address will automatically display the e-mail as a post on your blog. The Subject of your e-mail will be the post title, and the main body of the e-mail will be the body of the post. If you apply any formatting like bold or italics     in your e-mail program, they will show up in the post!

Some of you advanced Sikh bloggers might have already known about e-mail blogging, but did you know you can also post to your blog from Microsoft Word?

Now here’s something cool.

Simply go to:
http://www.download.com/Blogger-for-Word/3000-2068_4-10428262.html

and download “Blogger for Word” and install it.

It will display as a toolbar the next time you open Microsoft Word. You can write a document in word, and publish it directly to your blog. You can customize the title and even edit posts from your blog in Word. Unfortunately you can’t use some of the drawing tools like textboxes, but it publishes in XHTML without any Microsoft coding, and makes the appearance of the post nice and tidy.

It’s very easy. In fact - this post was made and published from Word!
