Akal Academy, Baru Sahib Students win Scholarships for higher studies
Two Akal Academy students, Pavneet Singh and Lovepreet Kaur, have won scholarships in the renowned universities of US. ![]() Pavneet Singh has won ‘American University Dean’s Scholarship’ (Washington DC) amounting to US$ 18,000 annually. This scholarship is awarded to the top 15% of all the students admitted in the university, renewed annually on performance basis. Pavneet Singh scored 94.8% in X and topped in Maths and English scoring 100 and 93 marks respectively. ![]() Another student, Lovepreet Kaur has won the scholarship amounting to US$ 5,000 annually in Wayne State University, Detroit, USA, in Engineering stream. She topped in XII class securing 90% marks getting 95% in Maths. Lovepreet Kaur also scored above 90% in X class. |
