UBC SSA Fundraiser and Discussion
November 8th, 2005 by adminFrom: SSA UBC (sikhiunleashed@yahoo.ca)
, UBC SSA is having its first FUNDRAISER of the year . We will be hosting a SAMOSA sale this Wednesday Nov. 9th in the woodward IRC between 11 & 2pm (the lobby outside the library). The club will be selling plates of 2 samosas and chole for $3.25, $4 with a drink. The samosas will be hot and the pop will be cold, so everyone come out and support the club. We will be putting partial proceeds towards earthquake relief efforts in south east Asia as well.
We will be holding another DISCUSSION this week on Thursday Nov. 10th at 12:30pm in Gage. These discussions are a great way to express your thoughts and ideas, so we hope to see some new faces come out and take part. The discussion may be followed after by simran for anybody interested.
There will be another CONFERENCE COMMTTEE meeting on Wed. Nov. 9th at 1:00pm at Koerner Library. Anybody still interested in being involved in the conference can still volunteer just show up to the meeting. This is a great way to be involved and meet new people.
