Sant Kartar Singh Ji Khalsa Bhinderanwale is one of the most amazing and inspiring Sikh personalities. Sant Ji served for 8 years in the form of the head of the Dam Dami Taksal during which Sant Ji did amazing amounts of Sikhi Parchar. On August 3, 1977 when Sant Ji was going from Pind Malseeha (Jalandhar) to Solan, at Adda Hunaispur (near Ludhiana), Sant Ji’s car was involved in an accident and hit a tree, due to which Sant Ji was severely wounded physically. Sant Ji was admitted to C.M.C. Hospital in Ludhiana. On August 16, 1977, Sant Ji went to his eternal abode in Sach Khand. The Gurdwara, “Gurdarshan Prakash” which was established in honour of Sant Gurbachan Singh Ji ‘Khalsa’ in Mehta, was the place where Sant Kartar Singh Ji’s antam sanskaar was performed on the 29th of August, 1977.
