11th Annual SuperWalk for Parkinson’s

This September, in over 75 locations across Canada and eight communities in British Columbia, individuals with Parkinson’s disease, their friends and their families will walk to raise funds for a cure. On Sunday, September 10, the walks will take place at Ceperley Playground in Stanley Park, and Campbell Valley Park in Langley. Thousands of participants will walk, run, jog and stroll to do their part in this national fundraising event to help the nearly 100,000 Canadians – 7,000 British Columbians – who suffer from Parkinson’s disease. In 2005, SuperWalk raised $1.68 million nationally and $140,000 in British Columbia. For information on SuperWalk locations, dates and times, please visit www.superwalk.com.
